Jazz, Popular Music and Dance Methodological Group

 

For several years now, the "Menas" theatre has been celebrating the International Jazz Day declared by "UNESCO". All over the world jazz music is played in concert halls, theatres and other spaces.

I am glad that the city of Panevėžys, its citizens and young people join this declared and celebrated Jazz Day. Thanks to the cooperation of the methodological group of the jazz, popular music and dance department of the Panevėžys Music School and the theatre "Menas", a concert will also be held in our city, featuring the world's most beautiful jazz melodies and enchanting rhythms and improvisations performed by the young Panevėžys jazz artists. They will be accompanied by the most famous Lithuanian jazz masters and their teachers:

Paulius Zdanavičius - piano, Darius Kaselis - saxophone, Viktoras Labanauskas - double bass, Saulius Astrauskas - percussion.
