The famous "Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo" comes to Lithuania with one of their best programs, which includes the second act of "Swan Lake" alongside other classical gems. The Trocks, as the troupe is fondly called, was founded in 1974. a group of ballet enthusiasts who wanted to create entertainment with humorous versions of classical ballet where all the roles are played by men. It all started in small theaters in New York, where they played to small audiences and were met with great enthusiasm by critics and others. Since then, Troks has established himself as an important dance phenomenon around the world. Their busy annual schedule includes performances in more than 35 countries and 600 cities around the world, with huge success everywhere. Even Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III applauded them.
The troupe's repertoire is very diverse: many fragments from famous classical ballet works, such as "Swan Lake", "Paquita", "The Nutcracker", "Don Quixote", "Giselle" and masterful parodies of the works of some choreographers (Balanchine, Robbins, Cunningham) .
