His victory was not limited to the title - Anyanya won a prize of €15,000 and a contract with Universal Music Group.

Vytautas Straižys is an extraordinary pianist, whose musical journey has taken him from the M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts to the prestigious Royal Conservatory in the Netherlands, where he completed his Master's degree in Jazz. His musicianship spans a wide spectrum, from jazz to classical music, combining improvisational skill and deep harmonic textures. Vytautas is able to create a musical journey that combines the styles of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock with the classical influences of Sergei Rachmaninoff and Claude Debussy.
Vytautas is a versatile artist - in addition to the piano, he also sings, plays percussion instruments and has founded the Downtown Piano Lab, a unique apartment, studio and concert hall all in one - which has become a real creative hub in Vilnius.
