Lozoraičiai is a family that has lived the idea of the state from generation to generation, that has always focused its efforts on the vision of a free Lithuania, and that became a kind of an island of independent Lithuania in exile during the occupation, around which a political, diplomatic and social network revolved. The exhibition "Lozoraičiai Lithuania: When the Personal Becomes Political" speaks of the unique heritage of the Lozoraičiai family and tells the story of three generations of the family who actively participated in the creation of the modern state of Lithuania - in the regaining and consolidation of its freedom. In the early and late 20th century, the Lozoraičiai twice helped restore Lithuania's statehood. For the first time, the exhibition features not only various documents and photographs, audio recordings and footage of the family's activities, but also the personal belongings of its members. Some of them are related to the diplomatic and political life of the Lozoraičiai, while others reveal the personal interests, tastes and lifestyles of the family members, giving an opportunity to feel a closer emotional connection with these important figures of Lithuanian history.
