Monika is a Lithuanian woman with Jewish roots who lives in an emotionally strained relationship with her partner. There is constant tension in her home. Every weekend, she goes through the same scenario, which she doesn't even tell her family about, not wanting to damage the couple's perfect image. The occasional small moments of happiness in the relationship also keep her silent.
