A New Beginning

The project "Kaunas Woman of the Year", which has been a testimony to the extraordinary influence of women on the city and the Kaunas region for more than a decade, grows, changes its name and invites to celebrate the contribution of all deserving people - "Kaunas Woman of the Year" becomes "Kaunas Men of the Year"
. "For years, the aim of the project has been to showcase girls and women who do more than their fair share. We will continue to do that. The project, which has been of great importance so far, is now taking on an even greater scale," said Tadas Širvinskas, director of the company that publishes the daily newspaper Kauno diena.
The nomination for Kaunas Woman of the Year remains, but there are five new nominations: Success Story, Transformation of the Year, Creator of the Year, Mission of the Year, and Initiative/Breakthrough of the Year. Traditionally, all readers of the daily newspaper and portal "Kauno diena" are invited to nominate their candidates.

The winner of the nomination "Kaunas Woman of the Year" will be chosen by the readers of the daily newspaper and portal "Kauno diena". The winners of the other five nominations will be chosen by the editorial staff of the daily newspaper and portal from the nominations proposed by readers.

The event will be broadcast on TV6 channel.
