2019 year. Lithuania. An unseen and unheard virus catches the country unprepared. Quarantine is introduced in the country and all life moves to a distance. At that time, the ever-prospective police investigator Meilūnas examines a not quite ordinary case - although the country is under quarantine, the wife of the citizen Šlamštutis (actor Artūras Orlauskas) has disappeared. The study is carried out remotely. On the one hand, working remotely is convenient, but on the other hand, finding a common language between the investigator and the suspects is very difficult. The comical situations just rush over the edges, and here the wife (actor Birutė Prekvičiūtė), innate modesty and internal competition of the police prevent them from doing their job well. There are many suspicious circumstances, the case stalls and even Santa Claus (actor Aleksandras Karpavičius) is on the list of suspects.
Who is the real kidnapper? Will investigator Meilūnas be able to find the missing woman using Sherlock Holmes's deductive method? Will he be able to solve the family problems hindering the investigation? Will you be able to win the coveted stalker of the year award and become a TV star? All the answers in the crime comedy Stalker of the Year.
