The theme of faith is revealed in the film in the most diverse forms of the earthly life that Adolf assumed: teacher, soldier, freedom fighter, defender of the nation, uniter - in the conditions of an almost impossible reunion.The film tells the story of Adolfas Ramanauskas-Vanagas's birth, teaching, work and struggle in stages.The filmmakers relied on the memories and testimonies of former students of the Alytus Teachers' Seminary, as well as on the book "Daugel kritosūnų" written by Adolfas Ramanauskas-Vanagas himself.
