Musical geography is a special journey through five regions of European traditional music: Northern, Western, Southern, Central and Southeastern Europe. This time we will get to know Central Europe: from the wandering medieval German Minesingers to the Magyars surrounded by the Carpathians. Through characteristic songs, instruments, instrumental and dance music, we will open the chest of ethnic music identity.
CLOSER TO MUSIC - these are acquaintance-tasting evenings of meetings with well-known or not-yet-known music, led by interesting companions: musicologists, musicians, music lovers - fans of a certain genre, composer, instrument, performer or musical culture. They tell about the peculiarities of music, the circumstances of its origin, and select characteristic recordings for auditions.
