Violin, cello and word. Musical lyrics born here and now. Guests will hear poems read by actor Andrius Bialobžeskis and the improvised magic created by Duettissimo (Dalia Dėdinskaitė and Gleb Pyšniak) on violin and cello.

Duettissimo was born 10 hundred years ago in Vienna and has not often delighted music lovers in Lithuania. The name of the duo originated with Vytautas Barkauskas' work dedicated to Dalia Dėdinskaite and Gleb Pyšniak. The premiere of this work for violin and cello (Op.137) took place at the Musikverein in Vienna in 2014 and was extremely well received by the audience, and the duo's concerts have been successful in other countries. The Dutch newspaper Noordhollands Dagblad described Duettissimo, the duo of Dalia Dėdinskaitė and Gleb Pysniak, as a dream duo performing on prestigious stages around the world. *Photo of the duo by Vytautas Suslavičius.


ANDRIUS BIALOBŽESKIS has been performing at the Youth Theatre in Vilnius since 1997. In 2005 he was awarded the Golden Stage Cross for the best supporting actor in the play "The Taming of the Shrew" (2004, based on the play by W. Shakespeare, Youth Theatre); in 2011 he was awarded the Silver Crane in the category of the best actor for his role in the film "When I'll Embrace You" (2010, dir. by K. Vildžiūnas). He directed the poetry performance "Valhala. Poetic (Dis)Interrogations" (2019, based on R. Stankevičius; also acted), prepared literary programmes (based on the works of S. Geda, V. Mačernis, M. Martinaitis, H. Radauskas, J. Strielkūnas, P. Širvis, and A. Tarkovskis), and recorded CDs of poetry by R.
