How does music affect the taste of wine and how does music change with wine? Is it possible to combine taste and sound? Or does wine have the sound and music the taste? The joint series of events of the Wine Club and the Music Magic Club, dedicated to the harmony between wine and music, will start with a session on jazz and wine pairing, hosted by Artashes Gazarian and Arūnas Starkus.
Artašes and Arūnas have been practicing wine and music pairing for more than 15 years. Over 100 sessions at the Wine Days exhibition, chamber evenings with string ensembles, personal tastings - the articles in the Wine Magazine based on their long experience, love for music and wine and the resulting emotional music and wine matching lecture at the Lithuanian Sommelier School will now be continued in a new format.
The Music Magic Club will host a series of specialised sessions - evenings where participants will be able to explore the combination of classical music, jazz, world music, and later other musical styles with a wide range of wines. "Even if we don't find the perfect match, great music and good wine will bring wine and music lovers together for a great time", say the acoustic tasting enthusiasts.
