The concert will invite the audience to a unique musical experience, interweaving masterpieces from the Romantic era and the works of a contemporary Lithuanian composer. The programme focuses especially on Chopin, a composer whose music is captivating in its emotional depth and technical virtuosity. The concert begins with Chopin's Introduction and Polonaise for cello and piano. Written by a composer in his early 20s, this work is distinguished by its youthful energy and elegance, reflecting the spirit of the Polish polonaise. The programme will continue with Onutė Narbutaitė's Autumn Rite. Hommage à Fryderyk". This composition for violin, viola, cello and piano is a subtle dedication to Chopin, conveying an autumnal mood and nostalgic shades, linking the past with the present. The concert will conclude with Chopin's Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano. It is one of the composer's most mature chamber music works, combining lyricism and drama, revealing Chopin's ability to create a subtle dialogue between the violin, cello and piano.
