On Friday (31 March), at 5 pm, at the gallery "GalerijaXX" of the Panevėžys Branch of the LDS, the exhibition of Irina Nosova's paintings "BERIBES SILENCE" opens
These are not the crystal horizons of nature that I would like to see.
These are rather inner landscapes, constantly changing, escaping from the trap of quarantine, frozen by the horrors of war, searching for a way out, finding the freedom to choose, to share, to live, to hear silence.
The exhibition is like a motley puzzle of events.
The vibrant states that inspired the works created 4 years ago for the solo exhibition "RIBA" have disappeared. The world has changed. I had to search a bit desperately for meanings and inspirations. To calm down. In the silence, I came up with some very unexpected solutions of my own - to paint over the prophetic signs of war in my earlier paintings. I was relieved. Then came the desire to simply affirm life, full of all kinds of moods, the charm of everyday life. That's how the FB page "Atiduotuvė Panežžys" unexpectedly caught my eye, where photos of objects resembled colourful abstractions, compositions full of paradoxes. And that's how RIBOS disappeared.
