The XXVI International Accordion Festival Vilnius 2023 presents a representative of the young generation of accordionists who has shone brightly in recent years, one of the leading young accordionists in Ukraine, the laureate of the XIII International Accordionist Competition Vilnius 2019!
Oleksii Murza is a laureate of many international competitions, a virtuoso performer from Odessa. After completing his bachelor's and master's studies at the Odessa National Academy of Music, since 2021 he has been working at this school as an assistant to prof. in the class of Volodymyr Murza. After winning a DAAD scholarship from 2022, he studies with one of the most famous accordion performers and pedagogues, Prof. In Teodoro Anzelotti's class at the University of the Arts in Freiburg (Germany).
The program includes colorful virtuoso, original accordion music and impressive transcriptions.
