Verdi's La Forza del Destino (The Power of Destiny), the main antagonist of Aida, the Egyptian Princess Amneri, will be portrayed by the Romanian-born (and also Hungarian) Judit Kutasi (mezzo-soprano). The part of the object of their love, the Egyptian army commander Radames, will be sung by Polish tenor Piotr Beczała.
