A future in which robots can replace humans has already arrived. Nick's wife is in hospital in critical condition and a high-tech humanoid named Alice (Megan Fox) takes over the care of their home. On the surface, Alice seems like the perfect maid - taking care of the house, helping Nick and even trying to provide emotional support. But it soon becomes clear that her emotionless and calculating artificial intelligence has plans of its own. Alice doesn't want to be just a temporary substitute maid, she wants to become a permanent part of this family. She is prepared to do anything to achieve this goal, even going against the will of Nick and his family. In this new world, where the boundaries between man and machine are increasingly blurred, Niko's life becomes dangerously complicated and Alice's deadly games begin.
