Charismatic and unpredictable Grandmaster of Piano Music Petras Geniušas has been treating the audience of Palanga to unconventional programmes for many years. This year, alongside the German genius R. Schumann's cycle "Bunte Blätter´´ ("Speckled Leaves"), we will hear the improvisations "What would I like to say to Čiurlionis today?" by Petr Geniuš, prepared especially for the festival. The performer has been "sick" with the "improvisational virus" for many years, the audience has heard P. Geniušas' ensembles with masters of this genre V. Čekasinas, L. Mockūnas and others. Geniušas presents a special gift - solo improvisations on the motifs of works by M. K. Čiurlionis.
