Roberta is a portrait of Generation Z, portraying the lives of Lithuanian young people born in the mid-1990s with poignancy and tender intimacy. Roberta needs little - she wants to live quietly, but not to be bored. These two opposites often lead the heroine to destruction. The film chronologically traces the events of the heroine's life. As we follow Roberta through a new phase of her life, the sense of economic and spiritual instability, insecurity, and constant change that accompanies her generation becomes apparent. "When I first watched the film, I thought I knew Roberta - I saw my friends and the people I met in her. She changes jobs, houses, styles, hairstyles and still doesn't know where she is going. If the pattern of life in society does not suit you, you risk being left behind somewhere. By following Roberta for several years, the director has managed not only to speak to her and subtly convey her feelings, but also to sensitively capture the lostness of an entire generation."
