Romualdas Radzevičius has taken part in Lithuanian and international exhibitions since 1973 and has held 25 solo exhibitions. Since 1980 he has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union. His works have been acquired by the Lithuanian National Museum of Art, as well as by private collectors in Lithuania, Germany, the USA, Australia, Italy, Israel and other countries. The exhibition of Romualdas Radzevičius's paintings does not pretend to be a comprehensive overview of his rich artistic legacy. The exhibition, which presents over 30 paintings, aims to recreate the essential elements of the artist's oeuvre - an emotional and philosophically reflective conception of the world and an expressive painterly plasticity characterised by expressive colour expression and an abstracted compositional structure. The artist left behind a rich legacy of work, which is cared for by his son, composer Rokas Radzevičius, together with his wife, singer Aiste Smilgevičiūtė. Their initiative has led to the creation of this exhibition, which is complemented by the 2022 music video "Father's Hand" by the band "Skylė", based on the painter's paintings.
