The part of the exhibition "Ethnic Cultural Heritage" at the Šiauliai History Museum introduces the main directions of the Šiauliai "Aušra" Museum collections formation: ethnographic expeditions, individual valuables and collections handed over by private persons to the museum, thematic collections, and the preparation of the museum exhibitions. The Ethnographic Archive, the pride of the Dawn Museum, which was included in the Lithuanian National Register of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme in 2006, is presented, as well as the personalities who have created and fostered the Dawn Museum. The exhibition features material from the collections of the Šiauliai Dawn Museum. Most of the museum treasures accumulated between the wars can be seen in the Šiauliai History Museum's open storage exhibition. The Šiauliai History Museum (Aušros al. 47, Šiauliai) will be open until 13 April 2025.
