Baritone Konrad Jarnot is one of the most renowned singers of his generation, a leader in the interpretation of the Lied genre on the international stage and a major authority on the younger generation. The British-born baritone gained his mastery and experience in the singing class of the legendary 20th century German singer Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. After winning first prize at the most important ARD International Competition in Munich in 2000, K. Jarnot has added an impressive list of major concert halls to his professional career. As an opera soloist, K. Jarnot has created a series of memorable roles. He is currently a professor at the Robert Schumann School in Düsseldorf, conducts masterclasses in Europe and Japan, and is a jury member of the most important international singing competitions.
Pianist Gustas Raudonius, who graduated from the M.Raudūnas Raudonis, who graduated from the Art School of Čiurlionis and the Academy of Music of Vytautas Magnus University in the class of associate professor Donaldas Raitis, went to Germany where he obtained a master's degree at the Robert Schumann Higher School of Music as a soloist and a pianist of the Lied duet. During his studies, he actively developed his skills, performed extensively and participated in international competitions. In Lithuania, he presented with mezzo-soprano Saule Šeryte the Lied programmes "Eduard Mörike's Poetry in Song" and "The Songs of Reynaldo Hahn". In 2022, with soprano Julia Wirth and mezzo-soprano Valerie Eickhoff, she recorded for the German national broadcaster SWR the works of R. Schumann and O. Messiaen song cycles. In 2023, together with baritone Tomas Kildišius, Gustas Raudonius won the Grand Prix at the prestigious Nadia and Lili Boulanger Competition in Paris. For the Festival "Art of Song", together with Prof. Konrad Jarnot, Gustas has prepared a classical Lied programme in the German tradition.
