Secret Service - the legendary 80's band that is still admired by millions of fans all over the world - only on 1 March at the Compensa Concert Hall, from 19.00.
Combining new wave, pop and synthpop elements, the Swedish band's hits have made Secret Service a classic of the last century.
Formed in 1979, Secret Service gained worldwide fame after the release of their debut album Oh Susie, which topped the charts in dozens of countries.
Secret Service was nominated for "Best Swedish Band" and "Best Swedish Album" at the prestigious Swedish music awards Rockbjörnen, which are decided by public vote.
Most of Secret Service's songs are written by Tim Norell (music) and Björn Hakansson (lyrics). The line-up has changed at various times, with keyboardist Ulf Wahlberg and Tim Norell being permanent members.
One of Secret Service's "calling cards", the legendary melancholic and mysterious song "Flash in the Night", has made several European charts and was at number 12 in Sweden itself. "Ten O'clock Postman" became a famous hit throughout Europe. Together with "Oh Susie", it spent 55 weeks in the German charts.
During its years of existence, Secret Service has released eight albums of music, dozens of hit singles, and has sold millions of records around the world.
In the twenty-first century, Secret Service is also a creatively active band, touring widely. Together with new vocalist John Becker, the founding members have recorded and released several hits ("Go On", "Secret Mission", "Lit de Parade"). And in November 2022, the band released a new album of songs recorded over the past two years.
