Four famous music names will perform in two arenas
Four stars, three countries, two arenas and about 200 minutes of music that will take you back to the most wonderful memories. On November 3rd in Klaipėda's "Švyturio" and on November 4th in Kaunas's "Žalgiris" arena, famous names that are reviving not only in Lithuania, but also in the world - "Pupo", "Secret Service", "Joy" and "Savage" will perform!
The biggest fans are women
The Italian "Pupo", "Savage", the Swedish "Secret Service" and the Austrian "Joy", who gained great popularity in Lithuania, were again invited by the well-known concert organizer "Back To The 80's 90's Lietuva".
The Italian Roberto Zanetti is well known by his stage name Savage. He is not only a singer, but also a producer, composer, businessman.
However, Roberto Zanetti's business card and the symbol of Italian disco music are his hits - "Goodbye", "Only you", "Dont' Cry Tonight", which are recognized by millions of fans already from the first chords.
"Women are the biggest part of my fans, and in your country, I already know they are amazing. And almost all of my songs are dedicated to women," Savage, one of the most prominent disco stars of the 80s, revealed an open secret.
"Ten O'Clock Postman" is still raising Europia
Another band returning to Lithuania - "Secret Service" - has received no less recognition in the music world. Although the wave of greatest popularity once accompanied the long-haired Swedes in the early 1990s, when their hits "Oh Susie", "Ten O'Clock Postman" and European music playlists "Flash in the Night" appeared, the group spanning more than three decades of career is popular still.
Her performances do not smell of mold, the musicians perfectly manage and entertain the audience, and when she sings "Ten O'Clock Postman" at concerts, there is an indescribable euphoria.
The hits "Oh Susie" and "Flash in the Night" by the group promoting the style of "new wave" and rock and pop music, which conquered the world's biggest stages, improved the popularity records of radio stations in various European countries. In recent years, "Secret Service" has experienced a revival - the quartet, highly valued for their live music, is invited to perform not only in the largest European arenas in Norway, Germany, France, Austria and other European countries, but also in the world's dominant music festivals.
A cop, a teacher and a DJ
The members of the Austrian band Joy met while studying at the same school. However, later fate decided that each of them went their own way - Andy Schweitzer became a policeman, Freddy Jaklitsch worked as a German language and history teacher at school, and Manfred Temmel was a DJ in a German disco club. However, in 1984 school friends crossed paths again and they decided to start a professional music career.
The first single "Lost In Hong Kong" did not become a sensation, but it brought the group to the attention of the public. But already the second single - "Touch By Touch" - achieved great success, entered the "European Top Dance 20", became No. 1 in Austria and "gold" in many European countries. The next two singles "Hello" and "Valerie" earned the group popularity not only in the Old Continent, but also in Asia.
"Joy" has repeatedly performed for more than 50 thousand people. listeners and participated in more than one popular TV show. Throughout their career, the group has released 4 studio albums (the last "In Love" came out in 2021), 5 best-of songs compilations and 18 singles.
"Baby" with the enchanting lullaby "Su di Noi"
The fourth magician of the grandiose concert that will be held on November 3rd in Klaipėda's "Švyturi" and on November 4th in Kaunas' "Žalgiris" arena is Enzo Ghinazzi, known worldwide by the nickname Pupo, who can also be called the hit baker.
Pupo, who grew up in a strict environment and sang in a church choir, became famous with the songs "Ciao" and "Gelato al Cioccolato" (Chocolate Ice Cream), written by the famous Italian songwriter Christiano Malgioglio.
The album that brought success was named with the same name "Chocolate ice cream". In 1981, at the San Reno festival with the song "Su di Noi", "Baby" takes only the third place, but gains world fame.
Having won more than 50 music festivals, recorded 11 albums, which sold more than 25 million copies, Pupo is welcomed in various corners of the world. He becomes a TV presenter, participates in a reality show in Brazil, several more times - at the San Remo festival, bakes hits, opens an ice cream parlor named after his super hit "Gelato al Cioccolato", where one of his three daughters, Valentina, works.
