In December 2023, the tradition of putting up straw gardens was inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List.

It is worth continuing this tradition in every family. I invite you to a workshop. We will learn how to tie straw gardens. In three hours you will be able to make a small garden to decorate your home. We will learn how to prepare straw in the summer. 

Education is included. 

We will have time to chat over a cup of coffee or tea. 

You will be able to buy straw for your own creations that you want to make at home. 

The classes will be led by Vilhelmina Raubaitė-Mikelionienė, a master of traditional crafts and an art creator. The straw gardens, toys, stars, garlands and wristbands have been awarded the National Heritage Certificate. The author organises exhibitions, gives training for schoolchildren and adults.
