A three-act, two-part musical performance-operetta
"The Bat" is one of J. Strauss's most famous operettas, sometimes called "The Revenge of the Bat". Although the premiere took place in 1874. In Vienna, however, it is one of the most frequently staged operettas on world stages. Both in the past and now, the life stories - revenge, deception, love, human vices, infidelity - do not change, and in our production of the play in the 19th century. the plot is moved to the 21st century, the script is modernized, the story is updated for the modern day. A modern interpretation of the libretto intertwines with classical arias. Although many may say that opera, operetta is already a "dying" art form, it can be modern even though it was written more than 100 years ago.
Deception, infidelity, gentlemen, are far from funny jokes. So don't call your wives the books they've read, because they might surprise you when you least expect it...
