Part 1: Simon Gilys trio

Simonas Gilys - a young artist gifted with the talent of improvisation has already managed to hold not only solo concerts, but also played with the "Jazz Academy" chamber ensemble and the Lithuanian Youth Jazz Orchestra. At the concert, Simon will introduce himself as the leader of a traditional "piano trio" and organize a historical journey through the aesthetics of "free jazz". He will be accompanied by his teacher Arnas Mikalkėnas and bassist Deividas Skridaila.

Part 2: Marco Righetto and the Jazz Academy Ensemble

Marco Righetto is a young composer whose music has already been played at several contemporary music festivals. Marc's compositions are characterized by precision and high demands on the performers. During this concert, Danielė Banišauskaitė and Agnė Repečkaitė will perform a program curated by Marc.

Danielė Banišauskaitė is a pianist specializing in the aesthetics of classical, jazz and improvisational music. Danielė is a laureate of many competitions, and realizes herself in the Lithuanian Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Agnė Repečkaitė - member of the Lithuanian Youth Jazz Orchestra, flutist and vocalist. Her biography includes performances at such festivals as "Broma Jazz", "Vilnius Jazz", "Vilnius Mama Jazz" and others. Agnė is creative not only in music, but also in poetry, so the listener can expect a synthesis of these two arts.
