The exhibition "Centenary in the Circle of Song" presents the history of the Centenary Song Celebration, its evolution and transformation influenced by historical changes: from the Day of Song in interwar Lithuania to the Song and Dance Festival today. The national tradition of Song and Dance Festivals is a hundred-year-old cultural and social phenomenon throughout Lithuania, uniting different generations, fostering ethnic values, giving a sense of national identity, and promoting a sense of unity. Song and dance festivals bring together art groups from different fields from Lithuania and around the world. The first Song Day was held in Kaunas in 1924. Despite the Second World War, the Soviet occupation, and significant historical changes in the life of society, the tradition of organising the Song Festival was preserved. At the House of History
