An unusual kiosk - a shoe repair shop - has been set up in the historical Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts. Only here, they will patch up the cracks of the city's industrial memory, not shoes. The images of the Psilicon Theatre and the sounds of percussionist Arkady Gotesman will awaken the history of the legendary shoe factory Lituanica. The shoes will become characters, touching the teeth of nails and moving the whiskers of laces, while the shoemaker's hammer blows will turn into dynamic compositions of contemporary percussion. "As long as we made our own shoes, we knew where we were going," says the creative team, inviting us to explore the future together.
