Next session: Mon, 8 Sep 2025, 18:00
Don't you know that your body is a temple of the indwelling Holy Spirit, whom you have received from God?... 1 Corinthians 6:19
We invite girls and women to pray in dance. We have been meeting on Mondays since 2017. We also invite new members to join us.
We are used to praying to God with words or song, but we can also pray in dance. We dance to Lithuanian and foreign hymns and Jewish dances. We dance the rosary prayer. We also create dances.
Sacred dancing is a form of expression of relationship with God that helps to restore unity of soul and body, creates balance and inner peace, and makes the relationship with God more profound. And it is simply good to be, to interact and to pray with other women.
Dancing in community is praying for each other and for the world, learning to entrust and give to God what I do not ask for, what I do not understand, what is difficult, to rejoice and to experience the wholeness and the healing love of God.
The dances are simple and do not need any prior preparation. If you know how to walk, you will know how to dance - take courage!
The series of meetings consists of 5 Monday evenings from 6 pm to 6 pm. The duration of the session is about 1:15 hours.
The number of participants is limited!
