"Dance for an object and a child" is about the relationship with the child's idea, the relationship with dance, the relationship with the creative process: the search for meaning, the search for certainty, trying to stay in the household of creativity and life. The play talks about expectations and stereotypes imposed on ourselves and others.
The creative team raises questions about the canons taken for granted in society, such as having children, waiting for them, conceiving, being unable or unwilling to have children. The question of having children affects everyone in one way or another, but no matter what we choose, we feel the need to justify our choice.
