the international M. K. Čiurlionis music festival presents one of the most famous Austrian groups - the string quintet Wiener Kammersymphonie (WKS).
Musicians loved and appreciated in Europe perform a wide musical repertoire from classical to the 19th century. WKS was founded in 2006. and immediately made an extremely successful debut in Spain, where he was a huge success - both the audience and critics recognized him as the best performer of the concert season dedicated to Mozart.
From that moment, WKS organized concert tours in Europe (Spain, France, UK, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark), Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Panama).
One of the ensemble's specializations is arranging symphonic and operatic music for string quintet. The artists will present these programs in Latin American and European countries. The Palanga audience will hear one of these transcriptions.
