On 11 July, singer Erica Jennings and pianist Petras Geniušas will give an exclusive performance at the River Terrace. Both artists easily dive into unfamiliar musical spaces, so this time the audience will be in for a surprise that will make them dream, mourn and fall in love. In this programme, we travel through the classics, with Liszt and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, as well as original songs by Erica Jennings, such as Leading me Home and Lovely Day. The creators will also invite you into the world of jazz with songs by Amy Winehouse, Irish traditional music, Gaelic music and, of course, one of Erica's favourite Celtic songs, Black is the Colour.

"Please understand that my 'date' with Erica is purely musical," smiles Geniušas, adding, "We have in common a fear of experimentation and of breaking out of the box."

"We all know that Peter is an incredible pianist, and he loves the freedom of improvisation. One of the reasons why we naturally get on so well on stage is the deep mutual trust. I think neither of us is afraid of making mistakes anymore. We get along well when we get off the stage, and we respect and admire each other very much," says Jennings.

With a wide repertoire of classical, romantic and contemporary works, pianist Petras Geniušas continues to explore new musical and spiritual experiences. He gives recitals and performs with Lithuanian orchestras, ensembles and soloists, as well as with jazz and popular music artists. He has gained international recognition for his performances in the world's most famous concert halls. 

Erica Jennings is a singer, vocalist of the band Skamp, and a performer of jazz, soul, folk, and pop styles. In 2017, she represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest with Skamp and was voted Female Artist of the Year and Stylus magazine's 2017 Woman of the Year. She has published a children's book "My Animals. My animals" and is an active human rights activist.
