UNDINĖ RADZEVIČIŪTĖ (b. 1967) is a master of spare storytelling and ironic dialogue, and is one of the most famous contemporary Lithuanian writers. She studied art history and worked in advertising agencies. Her books have been awarded many prizes, including the Lithuanian Government's Culture and Art Prize. She is famous for her novel "Fish and Dragons" (2013), which has been translated into English, Estonian, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian and German.Radzevičiūtė's other works include "Blood Blue" (2017), "Beauty and Evil Library" (2020). Her most recent novel, Dangerous Words, which deals, among other things, with the onslaught of political correctness in the world of performing arts, has been the subject of considerable controversy and reader interest.
