The concert "Christmas Splendour" will take place at the Jašiūnai Manor House, where you will be able to hear the unforgettable works of the chamber accordion orchestra Consona (artistic director and conductor Prof. Ričardas Sviackevičius).
The only professional accordion orchestra in the Baltic States is an excellent ensemble with a vast experience, playing style and an impressively wide repertoire covering various eras and genres, which has performed in Italy, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Finland, Germany, the Ukraine, neighbouring Latvia, Poland and Estonia. Recorded works for Lithuanian Radio. Performed extensively in Lithuanian cities. The orchestra's repertoire consists of transcriptions of classical works, original compositions, and music of the entertainment genre.
The orchestra's programme will be accompanied by the opera soloist Agnė Stančikaitė. Agnes Stančićkaitė is an active concert performer, has sung with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, and has participated in various artistic projects. She performs solo and with chamber ensembles not only on the major Lithuanian stages but also abroad. Her repertoire is dominated by the genres of opera, oratorio, cantata and song, and she has performed the roles of the Musetta, Mimi (G. Puccini's La Bohème) and Susanna (W. A. Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro). In 2018, at the premiere of Gintaras Sodeika's opera Post Futurum, the soloist sang the role of Gabrielle Eleonora, the wife of Jonas Basanavičius. In 2019, at the LNOBT in G. Puccini Liu's opera "Turandot", at the Klaipėda State Musical Theatre she has performed the role of Indre in E. Balsi's "The Journey to Tilžė", in the performance of the director Dalia Ibelhauptaitė A. Stančikaitė has performed the role of Mimi in G. Puccini's "La Bohème", in W.A. Mozart's "Don Giovanni" Donna Anna and many others. Nominated for the Golden Stage Cross. She is currently creating leading roles at the LNOB Theatre.
We will also hear the young opera singer Evelina Volodkovič together with the experienced stage masters. A mezzo-soprano with a wide vocal range, Evelina Volodkovsky is a laureate of several international competitions and has already made her debut in Rigoletto, Sarsuela and Alice in Wonderland.
Also in the programme, the young musician and accordionist Ruslan Grimbovsky, who has won prizes at many music festivals, is trying to make the most of his chances to perform in these productions. His music-making is captivating in its colour, inventiveness and energy
