Event description
The Jungle Book Trail of Lights - come to a winter fairy tale in Vilnius, in Vingis Park!
The enchanting The Jungle Book Trail of Lights invites you to a magical stroll. Located a little further away from the central stage, the Trail of Lights offers Vilnius residents the chance to spice up their visit to the park and enjoy an exhibition of more than 200 illuminated figures.

In the Light Trail, created with modern technology, you will meet monkeys, giraffes, wolves, elephants, cheetahs, a family of zebras, and many more jungle inhabitants. Your path winds along the lotus sea, the flamingo waterfall and the flower oasis. Frogs croak, giant butterflies flutter, the brightest blossoms bloom and parrots flutter on the branches.
The Jungle Book is an enclosed area, with no obstructions to any of the main roads or attractions of the Vinguis Park. The Jungle Book Trail of Light is located in the Vingis Park part of the park, close to Geležinio Vilkas Street. It is therefore most conveniently accessible via the entrance of Iron Wolf Street. However, it is easily accessible from either side of Vingis Park. Please also note the opening hours at the bottom and the rules for visiting. We also recommend that all visitors arrive by public transport.
The Jungle Book Trail of Lights
The Jungle Book Trail of Lights is inspired by the popular legend of the young boy Mowgli and his friends. There's the wolf gang with Akela at the forefront, the bear Balu and the panther Bagheera, the evil tiger Sherchan and his sidekick Jackal, and, of course, Mowgli himself. He has kindly curled up so that you can pass through him like through an archway and embark on a journey full of surprises. It will fascinate the big ones, and can be even more educational for the little ones. The animals are very realistically reproduced, some of them even have fur. Great attention has been paid to detail: fur, snouts, tails, ears. The proportions are true to life, but some of them have been enlarged considerably.
The dragonfly, Ka, is so huge that it can form a whole arcade. The peacock boasts a glowing tail as wide as 5 metres and 2.5 metres high, the butterflies are 2.5 metres tall, and the bear is so mighty that it looks like it could carry Mowgli.
&        The plants are amazingly vivid and you'll feel as if you're in a wonderful animated cartoon, but it will be interesting to see more than just the fabulous things. The Trail of Lights boasts an original creation - highly accurate enlarged replicas of five flowers that grow in Lithuania and should be protected.
All the luminous figures are artistically integrated into the landscape of Vingis Park. The area is specially illuminated and sounded. Your journey will be filled with the chirping of cicadas, the chirping of birds and the roaring of beasts.
What about Christmas? On our winter Light Trail it's bound to be!
When you've had your fill of jungle legends, you'll be treated to a wonderfully shimmering, reindeer-drawn sleigh loaded with gifts. Twelve metres long and three metres high, the Christmas composition will be the highlight of your visit. Step boldly into it and, accompanied by the good prophecies, step back into the real world.
