Seven-year-old Vera loves spending summers with her grandparents in a small town surrounded by nature. And especially visiting a remote, abandoned tobacco barn. Nieves, a teenager living in the town, feels under constant pressure from her parents to help with farm work, when she would rather spend time with her friends or boyfriend. Driven by a desire for adventure, they both meet a magical creature who gives them a different view of the world around them and themselves. "It is an autobiographical film in terms of feelings and relationship with the environment. Director Rocío Mesa acknowledges that she was once both the wild girl exploring the surroundings and the teenager who is not interested in anything and no longer sees the beauty around her. She uses her magical and psychedelic imagination to take the audience on a nostalgic journey through childhood and adolescence." (Ignė Smilingytė)
