Like polar explorers, a couple walks along a deserted beach, dragging a sledge with their luggage. After another argument and an attempted divorce, Janek and his wife give themselves an ultimatum and decide to embark on a 400-kilometre hike along the Baltic Sea in the middle of winter. If they meet the challenge, they will stay together forever; if not, they will divorce.
