Theatre comedy IT'S WHEN CHILDREN?

Performance

Next session:

Organizer:Vabalo filmai

Event description

"So when are the children?" is not a simple question, but rather part of our cultural heritage. It is Aunt Daiva's favourite joke, your parents' biggest headache, the last reflection of your independent life.

Aistė (G. Glemžaitė) is a 30-year-old wedding planner who hates weddings. Marius (Repšys) is a 38-year-old electrician. A kind and humble but not very attractive man. The couple rent a cramped flat in the Old Town of Vilnius, which is actually a bit too expensive for them. Life is not very blessed, but it is certainly not deprived - everything is enough, but there is still something lacking to fullness. The clock is ticking. It is not clear who is more important - the couple or Aistė's family. It seems that there is only one question in everyone's mind: will we get those pabiručiai or not!

The play will explore a situation that is often familiar to the couple, and in which not everyone will recognise themselves. Can two people live happily without children? Can they experience the "great joy of life" without children? Or is it time to give in to the pressure and try? If so, is it time to get married and swear eternal love!

The comedy is directed by Dainius Kazlauskas, who has created many successful works in theatre and cinema. "So when are the kids?" The producers promise the audience sharp humour, unexpected and familiar plot twists, an intriguing ending and a great soundtrack.

In the video episodes created especially for this performance, which will be shown during the performance, you will see a constellation of Lithuanian cinema and theatre. Find out who these actors are in theatres across Lithuania from January 2024. Tickets are on sale now - http://www.taikadavaikai.lt
