The Church Heritage Museum opens the international exhibition "Let All Be One. St. The Martyrdom of St. Joseph Kuncevich - 400". This exhibition commemorates the anniversary of the martyrdom of the saint. The exhibition not only reveals the life of St. The exhibition also presents the personality and activities of St. Joseph, the historical context of his life, the circumstances of the Union of Brest, which laid the foundations of the Greek Catholic (Unitarian) Church, and the founding and activities of the Basilian Order. The Saint's Jubilee provided an opportunity to bring together the little-studied heritage of the Unitarian Church in Lithuania. The exhibition features a unique collection of 17th century Eastern Rite liturgical vestments and a gallery of portraits of Unitarian bishops from the Lithuanian National Museum, St. The exhibition includes a collection of relics of St Joseph, the first images of the saint in old publications, early editions of his biographies and documents illustrating the stages of his canonisation. The 26 treasures brought back from Lviv, most of them unique relics of St. The images of St. Joseph, showing the evolution of his veneration from his beatification in the seventeenth century to the images of the twentieth century. The exhibition will be on display at the Church Heritage Museum (9 Šv. Mykolas str., Vilnius) until 27 April 2024.
