The Ditties is the only professional jazz trio in Lithuania that has been swinging since 2011.

The goal of The Ditties is to foster professional jazz-swing music and culture in Lithuania. In the 1940s in the USA, music was everything - it saved people from sadness in the face of economic hardship, it made them want to enjoy life and believe in it. So much optimism, so much fun, is concentrated in the songs of that time. It was like an opium, a real craze, and The Ditties, in their musical activity, are unwittingly reviving that almighty musical craze, reproducing the style of the women's vocal ensembles of that era in an accurate, correct, professional and at the same time very emotional way. Veronika Čičinskaitė-Golovanova, Rūta Švipaitė, Rūta Jakulytė turn into real queens of swing on the stage, very quickly letting the listener feel the magic of this unique style. The Ditties' special aesthetics, subtle mannerisms, feminine charm, professionalism and the exuberant, vital optimism of swing sounds are also recorded in their releases. - In 2016, the vinyl album of the best-known Christmas songs "Christmas Swing" (LP) was released, in 2021 - the album of the most beautiful Lithuanian songs "Estrada" (CD, LP), and in the nearest future an album of original songs will see the light of day.
