Arturo Bumštein's premiere, created for this year's festival "Dive into (sound) theater". This work was inspired by British writer James Graham Ballard's short story "Third Millennium" (Billennium, 1961). This is the 21st century. dystopia, which tells about a city of the future, where population growth is increasing catastrophically. Overcrowding has reached such a level that the streets turn into flooded rivers with crowds of people, and there is only a few square meters of housing space per inhabitant. People live in stairwells, storerooms, closets, having lost all personal space and privacy. In Arturo Bumštein's performance, you will not see a work staged using traditional theater means, but you will enter the labyrinth of actor Saulius Čiučelis' modified voice, illuminated by the beam of video projection.
