New Voices is a programme of topical and engaging Lithuanian cinema, featuring five short films made by a talented new generation of Lithuanian directors. The films, from different types of cinema, are united by a desire to explore human relationships and offer an authentic view of the environment around us. Here, seafaring romance is replaced by homesickness, the desire to be the best is darkened by frustration, tolerance for people with disabilities disappears in a critical situation, images of happy families hide a sad childhood.
