"TULA" is a surreal, Brechtian performance based on the novel of the same name by Jurgis Kunčinas. The work is centred on the distraction between the past and the present in order to untangle the cobwebs of one's own lingering heartache. The play moves beyond the monologic novel by bringing into the story a psychoanalyst, a companion with whom the narrator embarks on a painful inner journey through his memories.
