Notes about Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis". This is probably the fifteenth book by Vytautas Landsbergis, one of the most important researchers of Čiurlionis' legacy, about the most famous Lithuanian artist. In it, the reader will find various notes of the researcher from his personal archive, speeches given on various occasions, thoughts about individual pieces of music and painting by Čiurlionis and links connecting different areas of Čiurlionis' self-expression. In the book, which is divided into several main thematic areas, which include less explored aspects of the artist's biography, the kinship of music and painting expression, the preservation and dissemination of the work after the author's death, as well as reflections on the future paths of chiurlionistics, there are also articles that have not been published anywhere so far, and newly written articles by Vytautas Landsbergis reflections, so some texts in the book are separated by more than 60 years. The mosaic arrangement of the book's texts allows the reader to feel the change in the field of attention of the researcher, who did not neglect the Čiurlionis theme all his life, and the development of his relationship with the great Lithuanian genius - it is like a Čiurlionis autobiography of Vytautas Landsbergis.
