The Water Way is an interactive performance about the way of life of water. The story tells the transformation of water: how a snowball forms a cloud, rain falls from a cloud, puddles form and flow into streams, streams flow into rivers and rivers flow into the sea. We meet our friends, a goldfish and a jellyfish that lives in the sea. Finally, a cloud is born out of the sea and everything starts all over again, and again, and again, and again...
The story is told in small words, emphasising natural phenomena - clouds, rain, river, sea, etc., repeating them a few times, and emphasising the difference in scale of the objects - a big fish, a small fish, a big cloud, a small cloud, and so on. These examples were included in consultation with child psychologist and cognitive behavioural therapist Diane Zande. At the end of the performance, children are invited to join the performers in a game, to interact and explore the objects of the performance ...
