New times have led man astray from nature, the wise teacher whose lessons require us to pause and experience her distinctive language - smells, sights, sounds and touches, all that man can experience through his senses alone. The performance will feature trees - characters that are close to the heart of every Lithuanian.
The performance will be accompanied by live music by the charismatic multi-instrumentalist and therapeutic sound travel guide Daumantas Lukošiūnas. Acoustically playing a variety of instruments - didjeridu, djembe, gongs, shamanic drum and other percussion instruments - Daumantas will create vibrations that are in harmony with the natural sound background of the Neringa forests and that will stir the deepest layers of the subconscious.
The forest performance "DREAMS OF A SUMMER NIGHT" is a forest therapy session that will bring every viewer closer not only to the moss, trees, wind or birds, but also to himself.
The forest performance is the second creative fruit of the team. The first, a theatrical excursion "The Golden Age of the Black Sea Coast", presented in 2022, brought to life the culture and history of the Juodkrantė resort, which covers the period at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, when the fishing village was transformed into a luxurious resort. During the tour, the participants learned about the villas, amber mining and spa traditions of Juodkrante through music and dance.
