I accept the line as a necessary image of an artist's professionalism, as an indicator of his perfection - no compromise, no disguises - an honestly scribbled line on paper shows what you are capable of and what you are not. The nude (the naked kind) is a kind of personal confession of a person to both the creator and the represented... It is important to distinguish the dominant feature - the body or the spiritual state - here everything is very fragile. You can rise to NUDITY - or fall to NUDITY.

SPD's personalities inspire my long-standing participation in the Secret Society of Drawing. During this 15-year period, I have tried many different techniques, new tools and searched for a distinctive graphic expression. All the search sheets have accumulated in personal collections, some of them have gone to other homes.
In the annual reporting exhibitions of SPD members we are limited by the exhibition space, so we only show a part of our work, while the rest of the work is dusty in drawers.
I am exhibiting a selection of drawings that are more interesting, both in time and technique, in this exhibition to celebrate my 70th birthday.
At the same time, I would like to encourage my colleagues, the members of SPD, to use the opportunity - to pull their archives from the shelves to contribute and to continue the series of exhibitions SPD Personalities.
