Tímea Daradics (Hungary-Switzerland) will perform a solo programme "Medieval Mosaic", dedicated to the medieval harpsichord (clavicymbalum). The story goes that this small instrument, which is placed on a table, was given as a gift by Princess Aldona Ona Gediminaitė, daughter of Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania and Queen of Poland. Today, this delicately soft-sounding instrument is rarely heard in Lithuania, so we invite you not to miss the opportunity to enjoy its mysterious sound. Clavicymbalum will be accompanied by soprano Emilė Ribokaitė with a few songs, and in between the musical pieces there will be medieval and Renaissance poetry read by actor Ramūnas Abukevičius.
