In TARTLE's exhibition "Saints Alone", we invite you to take a look at saints from the 16th century as well as from the workshops of contemporary artists. Some of them were created by artists who spent years learning a professional craft, others by our great-grandmothers, self-taught village worshippers who worked out of faith, with their own ways and means. Some works are born out of piety, a search for strength and hope, others out of a desire to create a vision of piety.
