The International Festival of Traditional and Contemporary Folklore "Suklegos" combines various trends of folklore modernisation and invites to get to know the international traditional music that is being played now.

The concert will feature the experienced folklore group Vilko pupos and the instrumental string group Vołosi. 

Vilko pupos (Lithuania) is a six-piece Lithuanian folk music group. The performers create their own interpretations of Lithuanian folk songs and sutartniks, spicing them up with improvisations, usual and unusual instrumental chords. The group's repertoire includes calm, meditative compositions based on Lithuanian folk songs of various genres.

Vołosi (Zbigniew Michałek (violin), Robert Waszut (double bass), Jan Kaczmarzyk (viola, gajdy), Krzysztof Lasoń (violin), Stanisław Lasoń (cello)) combines traditional and classical music. The group was formed after an unexpected encounter between musicians playing traditional music from the Silesian Beskid Mountains region and musicians promoting the classical music genre. The curiosity for diversity that led to the meeting remains one of the main features of the band's work to this day - the interweaving of beautiful melodies and breakneck energy, as well as the influence of rock, punk, jazz and film music, combined with the colours of ambient music. The band's music can be joyful, inspiring, sad, tragic, tragic, joyful, challenging, soothing, disturbing, pleading, and ultimately liberating and satisfying for the listener.
